Identify a fish
Click on the link to access the fish family identification key. The key contains line drawings and simple choices to help you identify a fish to family.
At the end of each path through the key, there is a table containing line drawings of fishes. Choose the drawing that most closely resembles the fish you are trying to identify. Click on the "fact sheets for this family" link for more detailed information on fishes in the family you have chosen.
